**Is my file uploaded?**

Yes, this one needs a server. The file is converted in a temporary folder that is deleted as soon as the PDF is returned. Nothing is kept.

**How much smaller will it get?**

Scans and photo-heavy PDFs often shrink by 60 to 90 percent. A PDF that is mostly text is already small, so it may barely change; we never hand back a bigger file.

**Will it still be readable?**

Yes. Images are re-saved at about 150 dpi, which is sharp on screen and fine to print. Text stays as text.

**Is it free?**

Yes, no account needed, up to 20 MB per file.
