Electronic record and signature disclosure
Version 2026-10-24. Every signer sees this, with the sender’s name, before they agree to sign. The version each signer accepted is recorded in the document’s audit trail.
Agreeing to use electronic records and signatures
the sender has sent you a document through BettrPDF. Please read this before you agree. If you agree, you can receive, review and sign the document and related notices electronically, and your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one.
What this covers
This consent covers this document and the notices, copies and records about it that the sender sends you through BettrPDF. It does not cover other dealings with the sender unless they ask you again.
Getting a paper copy
You can ask the sender for a paper copy of any document you sign electronically, at any time. Contact them directly at the email address shown on the request. BettrPDF charges nothing for this; the sender may tell you about any fee of their own before sending it. You can also download and print a copy here as soon as everyone has signed.
Choosing paper instead, or withdrawing consent
You do not have to sign electronically. Before you sign, choose "Sign on paper instead" and the sender will be told to arrange another way. After you have signed, you can withdraw consent for future documents by contacting the sender; withdrawing does not undo a signature already given. The only consequence of choosing paper is that it takes longer.
Keeping your contact details current
Notices are sent to the email address (and, if given, the mobile number) the request was sent to. Tell the sender if that changes.
